I'm sorry my posts have been lacking of late... Work has just been C-R-A-Z-Y lately (I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate the start of summer quarter!!!) and I've just been swamped both at work and at home. I should have some wedding shower photos soon, though, so I promise to try and get the blog updated when I do. Until then, here are the answer's to Monday's puzzle:
1. The Hot Chick 2. 13 Going on 30 3. Freaky Friday 4. 17 Again 5. All of Me 6. Being John Malkovich 7. 18 Again 8. Big 9. Prelude to a Kiss 10. Skeleton KeyI should've known #7! The cigar totally should've tipped me off that it was George Burns - dang! Stupid work, distracting me from what's really important. Boo.
I haven't done a puzzle for a while because, well, frankly I've just forgotten about them. But I stumbled across Ayyyy! this morning in my page history and caught a glimpse of this week's puzzle. And since it looks like one I can do, I thought I'd post it. :o) This week's puzzle is all about “Body Swap Movies” - you only have to ID the movie in question, not the actors in the image. As usual, answers will be posted on Wednesday and my guesses are in the comments.

1. Jennifer Lopez/Ben Affleck 2. Winona Ryder/Johnny Depp 3. Nicolette Sheridan/Michael Bolton 4. Gwyneth Paltrow/Brad Pitt 5. Jude Law/Sienna Miller 6. Julia Roberts/Keifer Sutherland 7. Renee Zellweger/Jim Carrey 8. Katie Holmes/Chris Klein 9. Alanis Morrisette/Ryan Reynolds 10. Sheryl Crow/Lance ArmstrongI forgot about Katie and Chris!!! And while I was right that Johnny and Winona are in the puzzle, I feel dumb for not pegging them together for any of the photos. I know Johnny wears interesting ensembles - I just didn't have him down for a mustard yellow suit. Oh well. And I had no guesses for #10 because the dress and shirt were both so... unique that I wasn't quite sure who wore them. :o) It all makes sense now that I see it's Sheryl and Lance.
This week's puzzle focuses on celebrity couples who were once engaged... but never actually made it down the aisle. (Winona Ryder has got to be in here somewhere! She gets engaged to everyone she dates, I swear.Actually, Johnny Depp does, too, [hello, Jennifer Grey, Winona, Sherilynn Fenn...] so he might be in here somewhere.) I know Charlie Sheen was engaged to Kelly Preston but I don't think I see them in there. Michael Weatherly was engaged to Jessica Alba but I don't think he is "famous" enough to warrant inclusion in the puzzle. Sorry, DiNozzo. :o(
Usual stuff - guesses in comments, answers on Wednesday. Good luck!
1. Val Kilmer2. Mel Gibson 3. James Spader 4. William Shatner5. Mickey Rourke6. Joaquin Phoenix7. Alec Baldwin8. Vince Vaughn9. Russell Crowe10. Ethan HawkeDang! I was thisclose to guessing that #2 was Mel Gibson but I chickened out. Crap. At least I was right in my assumption that Mickey Rourke was in the puzzle!! Had to be. The dude is just waaaay too weird looking these days - you would never know it was the same person!
See?
It's been a long time since I posted an Ayyyy! puzzle but this one is right up my alley - it's all about actors that used to be hot! :o) Does this rule out guys that are still hot (like Johnny Depp)? Don't know. The "identify the former good lookers (before the bloat/booze/botox got to them)" phrasing would seem to imply that they are not included, however.
Usual stuff - answers on Wednesday, guesses in the comments. Good luck!

1. Sandra Bullock (Miss Congeniality)2. Ally Sheedy (The Breakfast Club) 3. Audrey Hepburn (My Fair Lady) 4. Julia Roberts (Pretty Woman) 5. Brittany Murphy (Clueless) 6. Anne Hathaway (Princess Diaries) 7. Rachael Leigh Cook (She’s All That) 8. Lindsay Lohan (Mean Girls) 9. Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) 10. Bette Davis (Now Voyager)I love how, when the quiz was posted, the poster asked for the actress and character... only to post the actress and movie in the answers! Dumbass.
Oooooookay... this week's puzzle is all about movie makeovers for the ladies. This time around they are asking for both the actress' name and the name of the featured character. As usual, answers will be posted Wednesday. Good luck!
1. Elizabeth Taylor 2. Meryl Streep 3. Barbra Streisand 4. Audrey Hepburn 5. Vivien Leigh 6. Grace Kelly 7. Bette Davis 8. Jane Wyman 9. Olivia de Havilland 10. Julie Christie
In keeping with the Oscar theme, this week's puzzle is all about past Best Actress Academy Award winners. As per usual, my guesses are in the comments and answers will be posted Wednesday.
1. Ben and Casey Affleck 2. John and Joan Cusack 3. Owen and Luke Wilson 4. Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal 5. Shirley Maclaine and Warren Beatty 6. Jane and Peter Fonda 7. Michael and Virginia Madsen 8. Ralph and Joseph Fiennes 9. Emily and Zooey Deschanel 10. Beau and Jeff BridgesDang! Someone got 8/10 on this - crazy! Of course, in looking at the answers, it all seems obvious to me now. Shoot. I should've known #7 wasn't the Arquettes - the chick's boobs were definitely not big enough. I would never, ever, ever in a million years have though of the Madsens, though. Ever. And for some reason (because I'm clearly retarded) I thought the dude in #4 just had really badly bleached hair. As opposed to a hat. The only person I could think of was Eminem and I knew he wasn't an actor, nor does he have an actor sibling! Uh duh. I did get #10, though, and that's kind of random so I guess I'll bask in a tiny glimmer of pride on that one. Yay.
I feel like a broken record but DANG! This one looks ridiculously hard!! Crud. Anyhoo, the focus of this week's puzzle is "Acting Siblings in Hollywood." Good luck, people.
1. Ralph Fiennes (The Duchess) 2. Ioan Gruffudd (Amazing Grace) 3. Clive Owen (Elizabeth: The Golden Age)4. Colin Firth (Pride and Prejudice BBC tv series) 5. Hugh Grant (Sense and Sensibility) 6. Matthew MacFadyen (Pride and Prejudice) 7. Jeremy Northam (Emma) 8. Alan Rickman (Sense and Sensibility) 9. James Purefoy (Vanity Fair) 10. James McAvoy (Becoming Jane)OH!!! I am ashamed. I totally called out both Jeremy Northam in Emma AND the fact that #7 looked super familiar to me but I didn't put the two together. (Sorry, Jeremy - I honestly didn't remember you being so thin! Mi mal.) Dang. My underlying layer of stress and depression is really taking its toll!!! :o( Booooo.
Wow. I can already tell this one is too tough for me! You just know one of these guys in Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy but in all honesty all the hair looks too curly to me!! If only they'd used the wet shirt shot after he pops out of the lake... Ahem. Moving on. This week's quiz deals with British actors in period costume - you need to guess the actor, not the film in question. Answers posted Wednesday, blah de blah blah. Good luck!
1. Renee Zellweger 2. Nicole Richie 3. Madonna 4. Amy Winehouse 5. Lindsay Lohan 6. Jennifer Connelly 7. Christina Ricci 8. Courtney Love 9. Teri Hatcher 10. Sophie DahlAnd, just for fun, here's what the same ladies look like now:
Whoa.
Okey doke - this week's puzzle is about female celebrities who used to be "curvy" and are now skinny. Keep in mind, however, that the word "celebrities" is being used - as opposed to "actresses" - so the ladies in question can be from many walks of life.
1. The Graduate2. American Pie series3. Class 4. How Stella Got Her Groove Back5. White Palace6. Unfaithful 7. The Good Girl8. Harold and Maude 9. Something’s Gotta Give10. PrimeThis is very weird - the photo for #6 is different in the revealed box than it was in the guess box!! See?
What's the deal?! Hmph. And weirder still - no one has mentioned it in the comments on the site for either post. Does no one care that the potential for a perfect score was sabotaged?! I guess not. Fine.
Sweet Jesus! Thank yooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooou!!! The call center people are both back today and I am OFF the phones!!!!!!!!!!! Oh. My brain is so happy right now - yesterday was hideous!! But today life makes sense again... yippee!!!Okay. So, this week's puzzle is all about older women/younger men in film. You need to ID the film in each photo - not the actors in it. Answers will be posted tomorrow, as always.
1. Drew Barrymore 2. Jodie Foster 3. Scarlett Johansson 4. Kirsten Dunst 5. Brooke Shields 6. Natalie Portman 7. Christina Ricci 8. Jessica Alba 9. Anna Paquin 10. Mischa BartonWoohoo!!! I got all 6 of my guesses correct - sweet!! And don't feel bad, Chrissie - almost everyone who posted guesses at Ayyyy! guessed Lindsay Lohan for #9. (Only 1 person guessed someone other than Lindsay, in fact.)
Aah, back to the old routine. This week's puzzle is all about child actresses (you only have to ID the actress, not the movie in which the still takes place). As always, my guesses are in the comments and answers will be posted Wednesday.
